Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to join our legal team. This role requires exceptional legal drafting skills, the ability to negotiate effectively, and a commitment to providing high-quality legal services to our clients. The Attorney will work collaboratively with other legal professionals and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities

Provide legal advice and representation to clients in various areas of law, including business law, probate law, family law, and bankruptcy law.
Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as /Lexis to support case preparation and strategy development.
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and agreements with precision and attention to detail.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients while advocating for their best interests.
Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions.
Prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of case files and client communications.

Experience

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the bar in Illinois.
Strong skills in legal drafting and writing; ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
Experience negotiating settlements or contracts is highly desirable.
Familiarity with Westlaw, Lexis, or similar legal research tools is a plus.
