Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal Assistant to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in various legal matters, including personal injury. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with legal research and document preparation for cases.
Review and organize case files, ensuring all documents are complete and properly filed.
Conduct thorough document reviews to identify relevant information.
Provide executive administrative support, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
Maintain an organized filing system using iManage or similar document management software.
Collaborate with team members on project management tasks to ensure timely completion of assignments.
Support the preparation of patent law applications and related documents as needed.
Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings.

Skills

Strong administrative skills with a focus on organization and attention to detail.
Knowledge of patent law, personal injury law, and workers' compensation law is preferred.
Proficiency in legal research techniques and tools.
Familiarity with iManage or similar document management systems.
Excellent project management abilities to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $26.35 - $27.72 per hour
