Kelly IP, LLP, an innovative boutique law firm in Washington, DC, has a position open for a full-time, experienced Administrative Assistant who will work with Kelly IP’s Legal Administrator, attorneys and paralegals on a wide range of matters in the field of Intellectual Property law, including trademarks, copyrights, and domain names.

Responsibilities include: drafting and sending client correspondence; drafting pleadings; maintaining client files; assisting with filings before courts and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office; docketing and billing; assisting with conflicts checking; coordinating conferences and meetings with clients and attorneys; interfacing with clients; and handling a range of day-to-day administrative tasks including light receptionist duties.

Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of experience as an administrative assistant/secretary in a law firm, a positive and team-oriented attitude, a focus on providing top-notch customer service, the ability to prioritize under deadline, keen attention to detail in a fact-intensive environment, outstanding proofreading and organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

The successful candidate will report to our Dupont Circle office five days per week. Remote working is not available for this position.
