Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Probate Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various areas of law, however intitially the main focus of their work will be probate cases. This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while providing essential support to attorneys in preparing for litigation and other legal processes.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with case preparation by conducting legal research and drafting documents.
Review and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Manage project timelines and deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Conduct document reviews for relevance and compliance with legal standards.
Prepare trial materials, including exhibits, witness lists, and trial briefs.
Maintain client confidentiality while handling sensitive information.
Utilize iManage or similar document management systems to track case files efficiently.
Support the litigation process by coordinating with clients, witnesses, and experts as needed.
Provide administrative support such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and filing documents.

Requirements

Proven experience in a legal administrative role or as a Paralegal is preferred.
Knowledge of Probate law is required. Knowledge of Workers Compensation Law, Securities Law, Patent Law, and Estate Planning is highly desirable.
Strong skills in document review and management.
Excellent project management abilities with attention to detail.
Proficiency in using iManage or similar software for document organization.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
A paralegal certification or degree in paralegal studies is preferred but not required.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
