Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Corporate Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in various legal matters, including corporate governance, compliance, and contract management. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with the preparation and review of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate filings.
Conduct legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis to support case preparation and compliance matters.
Manage legal case files and maintain document management systems for easy retrieval and organization.
Proofread and review documents for accuracy and completeness before submission.
Support patent law processes by preparing necessary documentation and filings.
Assist with estate planning documentation and related legal processes.
Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date records.
Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to deadlines.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
Previous experience as a paralegal or in a legal support role is highly desirable.
Proficiency in legal case management software and document management systems.
Strong proofreading skills with an eye for detail.
Familiarity with patent law concepts is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
