Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including Insurance Defense and Personal Injury. This position requires exceptional legal drafting skills and proficiency in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing clients in litigation matters and providing comprehensive legal support within a law office environment.

Duties

Represent clients in court proceedings and other legal matters.
Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal advice.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients when appropriate.
Maintain accurate records of all case-related activities and communications.
Stay updated on changes in laws relevant to family, immigration, securities, and patent law.
Assist with trial preparation and strategy development.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the bar in Minnesota.
Proven experience in litigation with a focus on Insurance Defense preferred.
Strong legal drafting skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in using Lexis-Nexis for legal research.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: $85,726.00 - $105,934.00 per year
