Overview
We seek a detail-oriented and motivated Intellectual Property Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of intellectual property law and demonstrate proficiency in legal administrative tasks. This role is crucial in supporting attorneys with various intellectual property matters, including research, documentation, and client communication.

Duties

Assist attorneys in preparing and filing intellectual property applications, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and correspondence related to intellectual property matters.
Maintain organized files and records using iManage or similar document management systems.
Perform data entry tasks accurately to ensure all information is up-to-date in the firm's databases.
Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information for filings and respond to inquiries regarding their cases.
Monitor deadlines for filings and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Support attorneys in family law and estate planning cases as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal administrative role, preferably within intellectual property law.
Proficiency in iManage or other legal document management software is highly desirable.
Strong skills in legal drafting, contract management, and file organization.
Excellent research skills with the ability to analyze complex legal issues effectively.
Detail-oriented with exceptional data entry accuracy.
Knowledge of family law and estate planning is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
