We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a passion for the law. This role involves supporting attorneys in various aspects of litigation, conducting legal research, managing case files, and ensuring that all documentation is accurate and timely.

*Responsibilities*

- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings.

- Draft and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.

- Manage case files and maintain organized records for easy access.

- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and court personnel while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.

- Coordinate project management tasks to ensure deadlines are met.

- Review and summarize legal documents and evidence for attorney review.

- Stay updated on changes in laws relevant to family law, patent law, and environmental law.

*Qualifications*

- Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role within a legal environment.

- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw; familiarity with PCLaw is a plus.

- Strong understanding of litigation processes and procedures.

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Effective communication skills with a focus on professionalism and client service.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
