Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Family Law Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in all aspects of family law cases, providing crucial support to ensure smooth operations within the firm.

Duties
- Conduct legal research on various family law matters
- Assist in drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and affidavits
- Manage case files and ensure all documents are organized and up-to-date
- Communicate with clients, courts, and other legal professionals
- Prepare clients for court appearances and hearings
- Coordinate case schedules and deadlines
- Assist in trial preparation and attend court proceedings when necessary

Skills
- Proficient in legal writing and research
- Knowledge of family law procedures and regulations
- Familiarity with document management systems such as Lexis-Nexis
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Experience in legal drafting and preparing legal documents
- Knowledge of personal injury law, patent law, securities law, or workers compensation law is a plus
- Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate records
