Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Contract Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to workers' compensation, personal injury, immigration, patent, and environmental law. This role requires exceptional legal research and drafting skills, as well as the ability to litigate effectively on behalf of our clients. The Contract Attorney will work on a project basis, providing legal expertise and support to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.

Duties

Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements.
Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations, advocating for their interests effectively.
Provide legal advice on matters related to workers' compensation law, personal injury law, immigration law, patent law, and environmental law.
Collaborate with other attorneys and staff within the law office to ensure comprehensive case management.
Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to provide accurate guidance to clients.
Prepare case summaries and reports for internal use and client communication.

Skills

Strong knowledge of workers' compensation law, personal injury law, immigration law, patent law, and environmental law.
Proficient in legal research methodologies and tools.
Excellent legal drafting skills with attention to detail.
Ability to litigate effectively in various legal settings.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
