Position Qualifications
10+ years of professional experience in operations and management. 5 years of experience managing health and/or human service programs. Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Human Service Field or leadership related studies preferred. A strategic thinker who understands how operations and finances support the broader mission of Mind Springs, Inc. Depth of experience in managing teams, supporting cross-functional collaboration, operating multiple human services programs across a broad geography, including multiple facilities; developing staff and setting clear goals. Experience and interest in data analysis, technology and technologic solutions. Proven ability to forecast financial models, control expenses, while supporting organizational growth. Experience with executing and administering complex contracts. Must have excellent team building skills, communication skills, management and leadership skills. This position is required to work at the corporate offices in Mesa County.
Job Purpose
Responsible for the effective management and operation of the Mind Springs Health Outpatient Operations, including outpatient clinical operations, quality, compliance, IT/Networking, EHR, Facilities, Front of the House operations. Responsible for monitoring the execution of strategic plans at the department level; ensuring the day-to-day operations of the organization run smoothly and effectively; works with human resources to ensure the organization meets its staffing needs regarding hiring, disciplining or terminating employees. Must work in participatory manner as member of Senior Management and support the organization’s customer service orientation.
Knowledge, Skill & Ability (include materials and equipment directly used):
- Ability to provide leadership both independently and as a member of management teams in decision making, implementation, and quality compliance.
- Ability to communicate performance expectations and company policy to staff.
- Working knowledge of Windows based computer applications to include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Internet access.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment including calculator, copy machine, fax and multi-line telephone.
- Interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external customers.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload in a sometimes hectic environment with frequent interruptions.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands: Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Employee is frequently required to walk, sit, stand or kneel and occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop. Must have ability to sit for longer periods of time at a computer. Employee must be able to travel between Mind Springs Health sites. Possible potential for exposure to communicable disease. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
