Description
Enhances the hospital experience for patients, families and visitors by performing guest relation functions that assures the highest standard of service. Welcomes and assists patients, their families and visitors entering. Upholds visitations and other applicable policies, procedures, guidelines and restrictions of Iredell Health facilities. The healthcare system while being respectful and courteous. Monitors the immediate environment and reports any suspicious activity or individuals to security. Participates as part of the administration team by assisting with clerical and data entry as needed. Has limited access to patient health information as needed for position. This position will also assist with monitoring and screening visitors as needed per the hospital policy.
Shift: Weekdays, morning and evenings, every other weekend
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent required
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Computer skills with working knowledge of business software required i.e. Microsoft
- Ability to assist with other duties as assigned.
