Our client, a law firm with an excellent reputation for quality, is looking for another exceptional patent agent with a solid technical background and strong patent drafting skills. This practice has an abundance of high quality work from an impressive and diverse list of clients.
Primarily, this opportunity will relate to the preparation and prosecution of patents, opinions (patentability, infringement, freedom to operate), and patent portfolio strategy. There will also be the opportunity to support attorneys relating to due diligence, IP agreements, reexaminations, reissues, due diligence, and PTAB issues, depending on your interests and capabilities.
Here, you will have very substantive client engagement, thus strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Patent Agent Requirements:
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in engineering (mechanical, chemical, materials, manufacturing, automotive, aeronautical, civil) or physics
- USPTO license
- At least 3 years of solid patent preparation and prosecution experience.
