Proteus Discovery Group, LLC manages eDiscovery document reviews in partnership with clients across the country for large-scale litigation, internal investigations and responses to government inquiries.
To assist with these matters, Proteus is building its roster of interested and qualified candidates to work on reviews as they arise. We are seeking candidates who demonstrate an organized, detail-oriented, proactive, adaptable, and communicative approach to their work.
Our eDiscovery Document Review Attorney position is a 1099 contract position with the opportunity for growth based on performance, making it well-suited for a range of practitioners, including recent law school graduates and those seeking to gain hands-on experience in a rapidly developing practice area.
At a minimum, candidates must have obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school, hold an active license to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, said license must be in good standing, and candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without a sponsor visa. Prior eDiscovery document review experience is strongly preferred.
Position responsibilities include:
- Analyze and review documents for substantive relevance, privilege, and sensitive information
- Develop a thorough understanding of factual and legal issues pertinent to the matter
- Communicate regularly with Project Managers and matter colleagues via Microsoft Teams
Pay Rate: $25/hour for Tier One Review
