INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Our client, a highly respected AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking a talented Intellectual Property Associate Attorney to join their expanding team. This position offers flexibility across various office locations in California, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Bar Admission in one of the states where the firm operates (CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, MD, MA, MN, NY, OH, PA, TN, TX, VA, WV, NC, and SC).
- 1–3 years of substantive experience in intellectual property law.
- Proficiency in copyright, trademark, and domain name matters, including clearance, application prosecution, and policing campaigns.
- Experience in intellectual property litigation, particularly copyright, trademark, and domain name disputes.
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills with an aptitude for practical, business-oriented solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with comprehensive copyright, trademark, and domain name matters.
- Manage intellectual property clearance processes and application prosecution.
- Develop and execute intellectual property policing campaigns to protect clients’ assets.
- Represent clients in intellectual property litigation, including disputes involving trademarks, copyrights, and domain names.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of attorneys to deliver tailored legal solutions.

In California (Los Angeles), Massachusetts, New York and Washington, DC, the salary/wage range is $185,000 - $205,000 annually. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for performance bonuses and benefits such as healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off.
In California (San Diego), the salary/wage range is $170,000 - $185,000 annually. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for performance bonuses and benefits such as healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off.
In Colorado, the salary/wage range is $170,000 - $190,000 annually. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for performance bonuses and benefits such as healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off.
