ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking a passionate Associate Attorney to represent clients in Copyright matters, primarily focusing on pre-litigation negotiations, with potential involvement in later proceedings as needed. You will manage a significant caseload in collaboration with our dedicated paralegals and legal assistants, aiming to negotiate favorable settlements prior to trial in federal court. While the primary focus will be on copyright issues, versatility and a willingness to handle additional matters is appreciated.
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Associate Attorney will represent clients throughout the copyright process, from initial case review to the negotiation of settlements and legal proceedings. You will engage with clients and opposing parties through various communication channels, including email, phone, and teleconference.
ROLE IN LAW FIRM MISSION:
Your role will be crucial in advocating for and protecting clients’ intellectual property rights, while upholding the firm’s reputation for professionalism.
KEY SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Assist potential new clients during consultations to assess their copyright protection needs.
- Conduct and lead pre-litigation negotiations, maintaining professionalism and facilitating understanding among all parties involved.
- Perform legal research and deliver timely, clear analysis to support case strategies.
- Communicate with opposing counsel and parties via email, phone, and teleconference.
- Advise clients on legal matters, ensuring clear communication through various channels.
- Supervise assigned staff to ensure efficient and professional resolution of pre-litigation matters.
- Review and negotiate settlement agreements with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes.
- Provide calm, professional guidance when navigating challenging situations with opposing parties or counsel.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
- $60,000.00- $85,000.00
