*Overview*
We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal Assistant to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various legal areas and possess strong organizational skills to support our legal staff effectively.
*Duties*
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents
- Assist in case preparation and management
- Maintain and organize legal files and documents
- Communicate with clients, attorneys, and court personnel
- Transcribe legal documents and correspondence
- Handle clerical tasks such as filing, copying, and data entry
*Experience*
- Knowledge of legal case management systems
- Familiarity with estate planning, environmental law, patent law, and workers compensation law is a plus
- Strong phone etiquette skills
- Previous experience as a paralegal or in a similar role is advantageous
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $47,549.00 - $50,612.00 per year
