Position Summery
The Compliance Manager leads the department's initiatives in ensuring all compliance requirements are met for affordable communities within our management portfolio per Federal and State rules and regulations. This is accomplished through review of documents, preparing and submitting reports and training provided to staff.

- Familiar with IRS/HUD rules and state specific rules and regulations that govern the Tax Credit Program
- Ability to navigate software systems
- Strong oral and presentation skills
Essential Job Functions
- Prepares bond reports, both monthly and quarterly
- Updates utility allowances
- Pulls documents for third party audits
- Prepares pre-audit packets
- Prepares responses to state agency inquiries
- Reviews resident files for affordable properties within assigned portfolio
- Conducts compliance training for all new onsite staff
- Reviews Compliance Specialists' work monthly
- Performs Director of Compliance's duties in their absence
- Performs other duties as assigned
Specific Education Or Experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
- 2-5 years of similar experience

- Frequently sit, stand and walk
- Regularly required to talk or hear
- Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls
- Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
