Job Title: CAD Drafter
Job Description
- Develop and update detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for facility layouts, piping, electrical systems, and other related infrastructure.
- Ensure drawings are accurate and meet project specifications, industry standards, and company requirements.
- Lead the conversion process of existing MicroStation files to AutoCAD, ensuring data integrity and adherence to project timelines.
- Create workflows and provide technical guidance on the conversion process.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and GMP standards for pharmaceutical environments.
- Work closely with internal engineering teams to support project objectives and provide expert AutoCAD input.
- Coordinate with external engineering companies to ensure design requirements and project deliverables are met.
- Act as a liaison between engineering, project management, and external partners, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of technical issues.
- Maintain an organized system for all AutoCAD drawings and design documents.
- Ensure all drawings comply with regulatory standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior team members on AutoCAD best practices.
- Offer technical support to internal teams for troubleshooting AutoCAD-related issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve drafting processes, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in AutoCAD software.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Greenville, North Carolina.
Work Environment
Onsite in a manufacturing/construction type environment. This role, though, will largely be a desk job; need to ensure the individual is okay being at a desk and working on a computer 90% of the day.
