Job Overview:
We are seeking an exceptional Associate Attorney to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys and contribute to the success of our law firm. As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for handling a variety of legal matters and providing high-quality legal services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law and a passion for providing exceptional legal representation.
Local applicants only. Must be within commutable distance. Work is in office, not remote. Must be Covid vaccinated.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research using Lexis-Nexis, Westlaw, and other resources to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in patent law, tribal law regulations, family law, and personal injury law.
- Assist senior attorneys withlitigation cases.
- Draft legal documents, including contracts, wills, and pleadings.
- Write legal memoranda and briefs for court proceedings.
- Conduct client interviews and provide legal advice.
- Prepare for and participate in trials and hearings.
- Stay organized and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members to ensure effective communication and case management.
Skills:
- Strong litigator and trial attorney. Knowledge of probate law.
- Proficiency in legal research and writing, including the ability to use Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle high-stress situations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
