Location: Milwaukee, WI
Full Time: Yes (Hybrid 3 days in office, 2 days at home)
Salary Range: $95,000-$110,000 + Full Benefits

We are a top-ranked national law firm with over 15 offices nationwide and more than 500 attorneys. Our clientele includes some of the nation's largest corporations and prominent Fortune 100 companies.

We are seeking a IP Patent Prosecution Paralegal to join our Milwaukee office to support with all aspects of patent preparation and prosecution across multiple clients and technologies.

Responsibilities:

Managing the submission of new applications.
Evaluating correspondence from the USPTO and foreign counsel.
Monitoring deadlines using matter management and docketing systems.
Proactively generating client reports and preparing prosecution documents.
Liaising with the USPTO, attorneys, paralegals, liaisons, foreign associates, staff, and clients on prosecution issues.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in intellectual property, primarily focused on patent prosecution.
At least 2 years of experience working in a law firm setting.
A bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certification is preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in managing a substantial patent prosecution docket.
A strong emphasis on client service.
A dedication to contributing to a successful team.
Ability to work autonomously and effectively prioritize and multitask to meet project deadlines.
Exceptional communication (both oral and written) and organizational abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
