Lewis Rice LLC, a large St. Louis law firm, has an opening for a Patent Paralegal. This position requires an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience. A minimum of three years of relevant experience and a Paralegal certificate are preferred. The hours of the position are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position offers an excellent salary commensurate with experience and an excellent comprehensive benefits package including major medical plans, 401(k) plan, and paid parking.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assisting attorneys with all aspects of U.S. and foreign patent prosecution and maintenance
Preparation and filing of applications and all associated documents
Preparation of client reporting letters
Direct correspondence with clients and foreign associates
Information Disclosure Statements
Preparation and filing of copyright applications
Registration and renewal of domain name registrations
Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

This position requires an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
A minimum of three years of relevant experience and a Paralegal certificate are preferred
Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities
