Position: General Labor/Facilities
Location: Akron, NY
Compensation: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as a General Laborer. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the NOCO Fleet Operations teams with varied tasks surrounding daily operations. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment for all employees.
What You Will Do
- Facility upkeep
- Loading and unloading of materials
- Safely handle and transport tools, equipment, and parts to and from the work area.
- Transport drivers when needed
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
- Report any safety hazards or issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Assist in the maintenance and organization of the building
- Keep tools clean and in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Address any cleanliness issues promptly.
- Be adaptable to various tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the overall success of the division
- Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and adhere to the established work hours.

What You Will Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a laborer or construction or a related field is a plus
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and protocols
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to lift 25 lbs and move heavy objects and perform tasks that require manual labor
