WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Provide counsel to clients on a wide range of intellectual property-related issues, including
patent law and IP litigation
• Conduct legal research, draft documentation, and collaborate with multidisciplinary
teams—attorneys, paralegals, and support staff—to develop innovative and effective
legal solutions
• Represent clients in administrative proceedings, negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations
related to intellectual property matters
• Stay up to date with intellectual property laws and regulations and proactively advise
clients on compliance matters
REQUIREMENTS
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a top accredited law school
• Admission to the Illinois State Bar or eligibility for reciprocity
• 2 to 15 years of relevant experience in intellectual property law
