Job Requirements
This position will support the IP Practice working on the strategic development, procurement, and counseling of patent portfolios. Applicants should have focused experience in the following areas: Drafting patent applications in the computer arts (e.g., software, AI/ML/LLMs, web applications, telecommunications, integrated circuits, etc.) Prosecuting patent applications
Candidates should be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark office. Candidates with a degree or an advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering and/or computer science are preferred, although candidates with degrees in mechanical engineering or other relevant experience will also be considered. Strong experience drafting complex software patent applications is a plus. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, be comfortable working directly with clients, and possess strong writing and analytical skills.
