Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join the general litigation practice group in Boise, Idaho. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' experience, outstanding academic credentials, and excellent research and writing skills. Must be licensed to practice in Idaho, or be willing to sit for the Idaho bar or eligible for reciprocal admission. The Associate Attorney will work closely with senior attorneys to provide high-quality legal services to our clients while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Duties
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on various legal issues, including Workers Compensation Law, Patent Law, Securities Law, and Tribal Law Regulations.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements.
- Assist in the preparation of cases for trial by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing exhibits.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on a range of issues while ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
- Utilize Lexis-Nexis and other legal research tools to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and participate in client meetings as needed.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact clients or the firm’s practice areas.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Strong knowledge of Workers Compensation Law, Patent Law, Securities Law, and Tribal Law Regulations is preferred.
- Proficiency in legal drafting and research skills is essential.
- Familiarity with Lexis-Nexis or similar legal research platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
