Job Summary
Position will involve drafting and filing pleadings in both District and Circuit Court. Other responsibilities include managing calendars, scheduling client meetings, scheduling depositions, etc. Will have opportunity to work cases from intake through litigation but the main need is litigation support. We handle mostly auto tort cases, with occasional premises liability, dog attacks and medical malpractice work. No workers’ comp. Flexible and laid-back office located in Landover, right off route 50 and 495, with a gym in the building.

Duties
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery answers and requests
- Coordinating and keeping litigation calendar
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather case details
- Organize and maintain case files and documentation
- Prepare for trials by organizing exhibits and evidence
- Coordinate with attorneys to ensure case progression
- Assist in settlement negotiations and mediation processes

Experience
- Proficiency in drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
- Strong organizational skills to manage case files efficiently
- Experience in drafting legal documents such as pleadings and motions
- Knowledge of personal injury law procedures and regulations
- Familiarity with iManage or similar document management systems is a plus
- Previous experience in securities law, immigration law, workers compensation law, or patent law is advantageous
- Ability to handle data entry tasks accurately
- Project management skills to coordinate multiple tasks effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43,158.00 - $80,000.00 per year
