Job Title – Patent Prosecution Partner

Salary/Package - $400,000 - $800,000+ Basic Salary + Package dependent on portable book size/experience

Location – Remote working from anywhere in the US

Exceptional Law Firm (based New York) specialising in Intellectual Property/Patent Law with circa 50 attorneys/$25 million turnover. Fast establishing a reputation as a serious alternative to Big Law both for employees and clients alike. This firm have a proven track record of successful patent claim resolutions through settlements and verdicts and are highly respected in the field.

Responsibilities:

Handling patent issues, including prosecution of patent applications, and dealing with USPTO matters
Drafting and filing patent applications
Advising on IP protection strategies
Dealing with the entire patent application process and representing clients in the event of post-grant proceedings
Utilising high level analytical skills to conduct complex analysis of legal matters
High level writing skills

Candidate Requirements:

5 years+ Patent Prosecution experience
$1m+ Portable Book
Any technical background considered (Biological Sciences, chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, etc)
