Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of various areas of law, including patent law, workers compensation law, and personal injury law. This role is essential in supporting our attorneys with administrative tasks, legal research, document review, and project management.

Duties

Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
Assist in the drafting and reviewing of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
Manage case files using iManage software to ensure all documents are organized and accessible.
Provide executive administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars.
Collaborate with clients and other professionals to gather necessary information for cases.
Review and summarize documents for relevance and importance in ongoing cases.
Assist in project management tasks related to case deadlines and deliverables.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with legal standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Previous experience as a paralegal or in a legal environment is preferred.
Strong understanding of patent law, workers compensation law, and personal injury law is advantageous.
Proficiency in iManage or similar document management systems.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Familiarity with project management principles is a plus.
