Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Litigation Associate to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to family law, estate planning, personal injury law, and securities law. This role requires the ability to effectively litigate cases, negotiate settlements, and provide comprehensive legal support to clients. The Litigation Associate will play a crucial role in managing cases from inception through resolution while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Duties

Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
Manage case files and maintain accurate documentation throughout the litigation process.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic legal advice.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations, particularly in tribal law regulations and workers compensation law.
Assist in the development of case strategies and trial preparation.
Engage with expert witnesses and other professionals as needed for case support.
Provide legal administrative support as required.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
Experience or knowledge in litigation across various fields such as patent law, family law, estate planning, personal injury law, and securities law is preferred.
Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to resolve disputes effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Familiarity with legal research tools and software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $113,968.00 - $124,879.00 per year
