We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented IP Docketing Specialist to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in docketing. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Docketing Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting our legal operations through effective administrative functions.

Duties

Assist with case management by organizing files, maintaining records, and tracking deadlines.
Utilize DocketTrak for management of matters.
Collaborate with paralegals/attorneys to gather necessary information for cases and ensure compliance with legal procedures.
Provide administrative support by scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and facilitating communication between clients and attorneys.

Qualifications/Requirements

Strong knowledge of intellectual property law is preferred.
Proficiency in DocketTrak or any other legal management software is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong written communication skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.
Prior experience in a IP Docketing role is highly desirable.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
College degree.
Knowledge and command of U.S. Patent Office procedures.
Detail-oriented.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
Positive work ethic.
