Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various areas of law, particularly one or more of Family Law, Probate and/or Criminal Law. This role requires excellent legal research skills, the ability to draft legal documents, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service. As an Associate Attorney, you will work closely with asenior attorney to support case preparation and representation.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
Handle client matters in direct contact with clients.
Appear in Court.
Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs with precision and clarity.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients while advocating for their best interests.
Assist in the preparation of cases for trial by organizing evidence and preparing exhibits.
Maintain accurate records of case files and manage deadlines effectively.
Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case progress.
Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations that may impact cases or clients.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
Strong legal writing skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
Experience or coursework in Personal Injury Law, Patent Law, or Workers Compensation Law is preferred.
Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.
Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple cases simultaneously.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating initiative.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
