Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys by managing various administrative tasks, preparing legal documents, and communicating with clients. As the job duties require communicating with numerous clients from Korea, at least some proficiency in the Korean language is required.

Duties

Assist attorneys with drafting legal documents, including patent applications.
Manage case files using legal case management software, ensuring all documents are organized and up-to-date.
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
Provide executive administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
Communicate with clients.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with legal standards.
Utilize document management systems for file organization and retrieval.
Conduct legal research to support case preparation and documentation.

Experience

Previous experience in a law office or similar environment is preferred, but not required.
Familiarity with intellectual property law is a plus, especially patent or trademark prosecution, but not required.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Proficiency in Office software, e.g., Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
Experience with legal case management software is advantageous.
A high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed.
English & Korean bilingual highly preferred.
