We are seeking to hire an experienced Attorney for a General Counsel position in our Forest Hill, Maryland corporate headquarters. The primary responsibilities of the General Counsel involve a variety of practice areas including administrative law, contracts, employment law and real estate. This full-time employment opportunity in scenic Harford County offers you experience that will advance your career, knowledge growth, and professional development.

General Responsibilities:

Provide legal and strategic advice to the executive management team.
Draft and review contracts, documents and policies.
Explore and negotiate acquisitions, both transactional and real estate to include land use and zoning matters.
Advise executive members on existing and new laws that will impact the business.
Draft and review legal strategy in response to any litigation.

Requirements:

A practicing attorney with 5+ years of legal experience.
A member in good standing of the bar of Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania or Virginia.
An effective communicator with excellent written and oral communication skills.
