Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Patent Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patent law and intellectual property, with a focus on patent litigation. This role involves advising clients on patent protection strategies and representing them in legal proceedings related to intellectual property rights.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patent searches and analyses to assess the viability of patent applications.
- Prepare and file patent applications and respond to office actions.
- Advise clients on patentability, patent infringement, and litigation strategies.
- Represent clients in patent litigation and other intellectual property disputes.
- Stay updated on changes in patent law and regulations to provide informed legal counsel.
- Collaborate with inventors and clients to draft clear and comprehensive patent applications.
Qualifications
- Jurisdictional license to practice law and a degree in law (JD or equivalent).
- Significant experience in patent law and intellectual property, preferably with a focus on patent litigation.
- MUST be able to carry over a book of business
Benefits
Competitive base salary ($130,000-$150,000)
