Patent Law Group: Atkins and Associates, P.C., a boutique Intellectual Property firm, located in Chandler, Arizona, is seeking an attorney to join our patent and trademark practice. The firm represents and advises clients in the electrical, mechanical, and software disciplines. Our firm works with clients in industries such as semiconductors, computer software and hardware, telecommunications hardware, sensors, power systems, audio recording components, musical instruments, and medical devices.
The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or a related field (e.g., engineering physics, computer engineering). Candidates should also have ten plus years of experience preparing and prosecuting patent and trademark applications, as well as strong and thorough writing skills. Registration to the USPTO is a requirement. As this is a contract position, compensation will be based on a per-project basis, the details of which will be described and explained in more detail to potential candidates at the time of the interview.
