Kowert, Hood, Munyon, Rankin & Goetzel, P.C. (KHMRG) is seeking a patent agent for patent prosecution in the software and computer engineering field.

We provide the option to work remotely, in-office (Austin, TX), or hybrid.

Candidates should have experience working on patents in computer-related technologies. Candidates are expected to have a solid technical background and be able to quickly learn new technology and make distinctions between past approaches and proposed innovations. A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is preferred. We are particularly interested in individuals with experience in one or more of the following areas: software engineering, artificial intelligence, database systems, cloud computing, cryptography, computer architecture, and circuit design.
