We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join the IP team at our US office.
About the Job
- Responsible for performing all elements of litigation case management.
- Assist in various company initiatives and projects.
Specific Responsabilities
- Assisting with e-discovery processes and document management.
- Updating and maintaining litigation databases and files, including litigation deadlines, discovery matrices, case timelines, and reports.
- Assisting with preparing and responding to written discovery and subpoenas.
- Assisting with legal and factual research, investigations, and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various company initiatives and projects.
- Adhere to the company's policies, practices, and priorities.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Requirements
- BS/BA from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years work experience as a litigation paralegal in a large firm or a specialized litigation practice firm.
- Intellectual property experience is highly preferred.
- Experience managing the civil litigation process from start to finish.
- Knowledge of intellectual property law, including patents, trade secrets, trademarks, and copyrights.
- Highly proficient in using e-discovery databases (e.g, Relativity).
- Proficient with MS Office and online entity management systems.
- Experience developing and maintaining processes to collect, store, and maintain electronic case files.
- Experience managing medium sized caseload.
- Ability to effectively work in an environment in which you will be exposed to confidential information and documents.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year
