Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various areas of law, including Real Estate and Probate Law. This role requires excellent research, writing, and organizational skills to support attorneys in delivering high-quality legal services.
Duties
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
- Draft and proofread legal documents, including contracts and pleadings.
- Assist in the preparation of cases for trial by organizing files and evidence.
- Interview clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for cases.
- File documents with courts and other relevant agencies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records and manage case files using PCLaw or similar software.
- Collaborate with attorneys on various legal matters, providing necessary support.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Paralegal or similar role in a law firm or legal department.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures related to Patent law, Immigration law, and Family law.
- Excellent research skills with the ability to analyze information effectively.
- Proficient in writing clear and concise legal documents.
- Experience with PCLaw or similar case management software is preferred.
- Strong proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in all documentation.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
