Of Counsel- JC Law

JC Law is seeking a qualified attorney to help us manage Patent & Copyright matters. The relationship will be "Of Counsel". The attorney may provide their own leads and new matters or JC Law may provide as well.

Candidates will be directly involved in all aspects of the practice of law, supporting clients in:

Immigration Matters

Description of position and contractual relationship;

Your responsibilities:

Providing representation of clients through settlement or court.
Managing a regular schedule of hearings and court appearances

JC Law will provide the following:

Office space and or a non-physical relationship space.
A hybrid physical or non-physical space.
Accounting and managing trust and billing statements
Potential media purchase package
Use of firm server and client management applications
Receptionist
Potential Legal Assistants and or Law Clerks.
Conference rooms
Moot courtrooms
Benefits of other knowledgeable lawyers in the firm
Web site exposure
Become a member of the JC Law Team
The ability to buy into all employee health, disability and other insurance benefits.

The Lawyer will be titled "Of Counsel".

This is essentially a contractual relationship between you the licensed lawyer and JC Law.

Of Counsel Attorneys have the benefit of acting and living within the confines of holding themselves as a JC Law lawyer, but also having the ability to "work at thier own pace and to put as much effort into their practices they wish".

The contract will be detailed spelling out all elements of the relationship.

Attorneys will be solely responsible for all aspects of the cases they are handling, including conducting all client communications, determining case strategy, meeting all applicable deadlines, and handling all of their cases in accordance with the applicable standard of care and ethical rules. Attorneys will recognize that due to their subject matter expertise and experiences, no one at JC Law will be supervising their work.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $80,853.00 - $350,000.00 per year
