The firm is seeking a junior Litigation Associate to fill an expanding need in representing our clients. The vast majority of the work will be in patent and trademark litigation matters almost exclusively in federal court. This position is ideal for a candidate seeking to start or expand their experience in federal district court litigation matters.

This is an advanced level position for candidates with 5-10 years of experience. Applicant must be licensed to practice before the highest court of any state. Admission to the Nevada state bar preferred but not required. Please email cover letter, resume, and salary requirements.

Duties:
- Review and analyze prior art references
- Conduct legal research on patent laws and regulations
- Collaborate with inventors, engineers, and scientists to understand inventions and develop patent strategies
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various cases and legal issues
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Assist with case management and preparation for litigation
- Review and analyze documents, evidence, and legal filings
- Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as necessary
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and arguments
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the litigation process
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation

Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to practice law in at least one state
- Knowledge of patent/trademark/copyright laws, regulations, and procedures or willingness to learn
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A can do attitude
