About the position:

The One Club for Creativity is looking for a Junior Graphic/Production Designer to join our team and contribute to a variety of projects. In this role, you’ll work closely with our design team, Design Manager and marketing teams to create compelling visuals and assist with production design tasks. This is a hybrid position, with in-person work required on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and the flexibility to work remotely on other days.

Responsibilities:

Create effective visuals and designs across a range of media, including digital, print, and social platforms

Adjust pre-existing visuals for copy, information or layout adjustments

Create and populate templates, layouts, and mock-ups to ensure cohesive and effective design solutions

Prepare files for print production and digital publishing, ensuring they meet technical specifications and quality standards.

Adhere to The One Club brand and program brand guidelines and ensure consistency in design elements across different projects

Collaborate with the Design Manager, marketing teams, and other departments to align design strategies and objectives.

Conduct thorough reviews of design work to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to quality standards

Receive and integrate feedback from team members to make necessary revisions and enhancements to design work

Meet project deadlines and maintain clear communication with team members regarding project status and progress

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Advertising Design, or a related field

1+ years experience in design or a related creative field is required, this can include relevant internships

Knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals

Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines consistently

The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in the Adobe Suite (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and Figma

Basic familiarity working with After Effects, Premiere or other motion design software is a plus (but not required)

Ability to collaborate effectively within a small team, follow concepts and instructions, while also demonstrating initiative and self-motivation

Salary: $55,000 per year
