About the position:
The One Club for Creativity is looking for a Junior Graphic/Production Designer to join our team and contribute to a variety of projects. In this role, you’ll work closely with our design team, Design Manager and marketing teams to create compelling visuals and assist with production design tasks. This is a hybrid position, with in-person work required on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and the flexibility to work remotely on other days.
Responsibilities:
- Create effective visuals and designs across a range of media, including digital, print, and social platforms
- Adjust pre-existing visuals for copy, information or layout adjustments
- Create and populate templates, layouts, and mock-ups to ensure cohesive and effective design solutions
- Prepare files for print production and digital publishing, ensuring they meet technical specifications and quality standards.
- Adhere to The One Club brand and program brand guidelines and ensure consistency in design elements across different projects
- Collaborate with the Design Manager, marketing teams, and other departments to align design strategies and objectives.
- Conduct thorough reviews of design work to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to quality standards
- Receive and integrate feedback from team members to make necessary revisions and enhancements to design work
- Meet project deadlines and maintain clear communication with team members regarding project status and progress
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Advertising Design, or a related field
- 1+ years experience in design or a related creative field is required, this can include relevant internships
- Knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals
- Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines consistently
- The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in the Adobe Suite (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and Figma
- Basic familiarity working with After Effects, Premiere or other motion design software is a plus (but not required)
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a small team, follow concepts and instructions, while also demonstrating initiative and self-motivation
Salary: $55,000 per year
