Description
The firm is seeking a Patent Prosecution Associate or Patent Agent to join its Intellectual Property Practice as part of the Chemical/Pharmaceutical/Bio Team in the Boston office. Remote opportunities may be considered on a case-by-case basis. The firm is looking for a team-oriented and enthusiastic candidate with patent prosecution and application drafting experience, who is eager to develop their skills further within a dynamic team environment. Some experience in law firm, USPTO, or industry settings is required. Candidates must be registered with the USPTO. An advanced degree (PhD) or equivalent industry experience is preferred. Associate candidates must be licensed in Massachusetts or be willing to waive in or take the next available bar exam.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience preparing/prosecuting patents in materials science or chemistry.
- Experience with patent application drafting and prosecution.
- Registration with the USPTO required.
- Advanced degree (PhD) or equivalent industry experience preferred.
- For associates, must be licensed in Massachusetts or be willing to waive in or take the next available bar exam.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $120,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
