Our client, a prestigious national law firm, is seeking an exceptional and driven Product Design & User Interface Specialist to join their esteemed team specializing in Patent Prosecution. This opportunity is open to all firm offices, with a preference for individuals based in Atlanta, Chicago, Washington, DC, Houston, Denver, Kansas City, Phoenix, or St. Louis.
Profile:
- Hold a JD degree from a top-tier law school, demonstrating a strong academic background (for Specialist positions).
- Must possess Bar Admission in Georgia, Illinois, District of Columbia, Texas, Colorado, Missouri, or Arizona (as applicable for Specialist positions).
- Admission to the USPTO is a prerequisite for both Specialist and Patent Agent roles.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in preparing and prosecuting patents.
- Degree in physics, electrical engineering, or computer science is required.
- Extensive experience in a law firm, engineering, or relevant industry, coupled with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Software-related technologies
- Artificial intelligence-related technologies
- Internet of Things (IoT), networking, and related technologies
- Quantum technologies
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and prosecute patent applications relating to product design and user interface technologies.
- Collaborate and work alongside a team of seasoned attorneys and agents to provide innovative patent prosecution services.
- Advise clients on patent strategies and ensure successful patent filings in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
