We are a law firm specializing in first-party insurance claims, association claims and construction defect claims. We are dedicated to fighting for the rights of all claimants. As an Attorney at Murray Law Group, you'll work to safeguard policyholders' and claimant’s rights and interests. This role offers the opportunity to engage in diverse legal responsibilities, from strategic planning to courtroom advocacy. You will contribute to a team where your skills will be used, and you will be rewarded for you hard work and efforts on each and every case you work.
What You’ll Do:
- Client Representation: Advocate for claimants and policyholders in disputes, claim denials, and bad faith claims.
- Documentation: Review and analyze claim documents, reports, insurance policies, expert reports, and correspondence to identify critical issues and create strategic case plans.
- Case Management: Oversee a varied caseload, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and maintaining your own case files.
- Negotiation Skills: You will use you negotiation abilities to secure settlements with insurance carriers and other parties.
- Litigation Excellence: Represent clients in court, including hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
- Collaboration: Work alongside a talented team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Must hold a valid license to practice law in the State of Florida.
- Litigation experience.
- Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Proficient negotiation and advocacy abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
