Associate/Partner - Patent Prosecution (Technology)

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage patent prosecution matters, particularly in technology and computer software.
- Draft and file patent applications, respond to office actions and liaise with the USPTO.
- Advise clients on patent strategies, portfolio management, and IP protection in the tech sector.
- Leverage your portable book of business to drive client relationships and business growth.
- Work on large, complex cases that require collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Stay updated on developments in patent law and technology trends.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Texas State Bar and the USPTO.
- 3+ years of experience in patent prosecution, with a focus on technology and computer software.
- Strong technical background in computer science, software, or a related field.
- Portable book of business. (Required for both Associates and Partners)
- Excellent communication, legal writing, and client management skills.
- Proven ability to handle large patent portfolios and high-value cases.
