Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Contract Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various areas of law and possess strong research skills. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse legal matters and gain valuable experience in a dynamic legal environment.
Duties
- Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of legal issues
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts
- Assist in case preparation and management
- Review and analyze legal documents
- Provide support in litigation matters
- Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff on various projects
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar
- Experience working in a law office or related legal environment
- Strong knowledge of various areas of law such as personal injury law, securities law, patent law, etc.
- Proficiency in conducting legal research using tools like Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-2 years reviewing, experience in depositions taking and defending,
-Must be able to draft contract redlines based on individual client playbooks and risk tolerance
-Comprehension of clauses common to SaaS Agreements
