We seek experienced patent attorneys and agents to work remotely drafting patent applications.
As the ideal candidate for this position, you are:
a clear, thoughtful writer who enjoys the process and possesses strong writing skills;
detail-oriented;
able to quickly adapt drafting style to meet clients’ needs and preferences;
able to follow instructions without repeated reminders;
a responsive communicator; and
looking for long-term contractor work.
A suitable candidate must:
have a minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in patent application drafting;
have drafted more than 100 patent applications;
have at least a bachelor's degree in one of the following technical subjects: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (ABET-accredited);
have a USPTO Registration Number;
be U.S. based; and
have a U.S. work authorization.
