We are a startup looking for a Trademark & Patent Lawyer who can file our Trademarks and Patents (Design and Utility).
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on trademarks and patents.
- Manage trademark and patent applications, filings, and renewals.
- Conduct trademark searches and patentability assessments.
- Draft, review, and file trademark and patent documents.
- Respond to trademark and patent office actions.
- Ensure compliance with all trademark and patent laws.
- Collaborate with the product development team to identify and protect intellectual property.
- Monitor and enforce intellectual property rights.
Requirements:
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. state.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in trademark and patent law.
- Strong understanding of U.S. and international trademark and patent laws.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
